UnCategorized If you have never been to Maui, then you’re in for a treat. Besides for the sands and palm trees that Hawaii is known for, there is much more to do once you get here that you may not have known about. For those of you that have been here, you may discover activities that you missed when you were here. Here are 15 things that you must do while on Maui. First of all as you plan for your vacation, you might want to consider hiring a Maui photographer for some of your events that you want captured forever, as some events may be more important to you than others. A Maui photographer can work with you on your itinerary ahead of time to ensure your schedules, as well as your photographic wants and needs, are met. 15 Must Do’s 1. Go for drives along the famous "Road to Hana" and through the West Side of Maui. In either case, you can spend the day engulfed Maui’s natural beauty of greenery and ocean views. 2. Spend time in the town of Lahaina. Here you’ll see the history of Maui, visit art galleries, little retail shops, some great restaurants as well as some Hawaiian shaved ice. In addition, there are fun activities for both adults and kids alike, such as the submarine ride or just head out to sea on a boat. While here in the evening, you can attend a Luau. Don’t just attend to eat, drink and enjoy a great show, but participate on stage and learn how to hula dance. 3. Take in some tours such as the Maui Tropical Plantation, the Bailey House or the Lahaina Heritage Museum, just to name a few. 4. Take in a dinner show at Warren and Annabelle’s. Perhaps hands down the best, and most hilarious, show on the island. You think spending an evening at a .edy club on the Mainland can be fun, .e to Warren’s and you will see there is no .parison. Plan ahead and make reservations, because this is not an easy ticket to get. 5. Take a walk around the grounds and lobbies of the bigger resort hotels such as the Westin, Hyatt, Four Seasons, Grand Wailea, Ritz and Sheraton. 6. Spend the day at the Maui Ocean Center and see all of Maui’s deep sea creatures, including Hammerhead sharks and a Tiger shark. 7. Walk the trails of an authentic rain forest in I’ao Valley and experience the I’ao Needle. 8. Get your adrenaline pumping and ride a Zipline over the many valleys of Maui. 9. Take in and enjoy the sunset each night, as a Maui’s sunsets are different every night. Better yet see the sunset while taking a dinner cruise. Dinner cruises are nightly from various ports. Check the cruise packages as some offer drinks and appetizers and others offer an entire meal. Makes for a romantic time at sea. 10. Put on your hiking boots and take a hike on one of Maui’s many trails. Whether you are in Hana or any other place, these trails often lead to waterfalls, private swimming lagoons or just the beauty of nature. 11. Enjoy one of Maui’s many places to eat. There is so much to choose depending where you are that day. My favorites include such places as the Paia Fish Market, Milagro’s or Mama’s Fish House in Paia; Kimo’s, Moose McGillycuddy’s or Kobe’s Steak House in Lahaina; the Kula Lounge as you head to or from Haleakala or even the Tasty Crust in Wailuku for an old style diner meal. In addition, where else would you go for Hawaiian shaved ice, but Hawaii? 12. Watch kite boarders take to the surf, and the air, while sitting along the Hookipa Beach perch. Speaking of beaches, what is Maui without its many great beaches? Take time to relax at one of Maui’s many beaches such as Makena, Hana Beach Park, Maka’alae, Wailea, Ka’anapali and many more. 13. Spend time on the Haleakala Crater. Incredible sunrises and sunsets, great hiking trails, the pure stillness in the air, horseback riding, and see the rare state bird, the Nene. However, plan ahead because it can extremely cold up there. For real adventurers, you can bike down the crater. 14. Go whale watching from mid-January to mid-March as this is the best time period to view the whales from either a boat or even from shore. 15. Visit Maui’s upcountry and take in a goat farm or go wine tasting at the Tedeschi Vineyards Winery. About the Author: 相关的主题文章:
